This “son et lumière” work is a collaboration between two De Montfort University colleagues: composer John Young (Humanities) and photographer Lala Meredith-Vula (Art and Design). The work integrates Young’s electroacoustic work Lamentations with a newly-realized sequence of photographs from Meredith-Vula’s exhibition Are You Everybody? — a photographic study of the aftermath of war in Kosova.

Are You Everybody? premiered under the title Everybody’s Lament on March 1, 2010 during the concert 20 years of musical innovation at De Montfort University in Leicester (England, UK).
