Chroma | Violet realized in 2018 at the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio of Musiques & Recherches (Ohain, Belgium) and was premiered under the title Éclats | Violet [Shards | Purple] by percussionist Huizi Wang on November 18, 2018, during the concert 100% mixte! presented at the Salle Claude-Champagne of the Université de Montréal (Québec). The work was revised in 2020 (following the realization of the acousmaric version now retitled Éclats | Violet [Shards | Purple]). Thanks to Huizi Wang (recorded percussion instruments), Pierre Michaud, and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ).
