The sounds all come from dismantling the BEAST, a sound system of over 100 speakers dedicated to electroacoustic concerts. There were about ten of us that day and the recording was made in binaural. Processing these sounds produced a soundscape in which dialogues become barely perceptible melodies, while percussion and friction sounds are the leitmotif of the piece.

Ailleurs [Elsewhere] was realized in 2011 at the Electroacoustic Music Studios of the University of Birmingham (England, UK) and premiered on June 7, 2013 during the Sound, Sight, Space, Play Conference 2013 at De Montfort University in Leicester (England, UK).
