Mauricio Kagel’s works are out there
Argentinian composer Mauricio Kagel is certainly one of the most versatile contemporary music creator. Following his inspiration, he chooses appropriatly between serial techniques, electroacoustics, Middle East influences, or the spirit of pop music, and filtrates those systematically with an inventive and iconoclastic mind. Interpretation of his works requires often a visual contribution set with wild dramatization, or with a sharp, never unmotivated, humor.
