Richard Barrett is a composer, author, teacher and improviser whose music, mostly chamber, vocal and electroacoustic works, is performed throughout the world. Close collaborations with contemporary ensembles include FURT, ELISION, the Evan Parker Electroacoustic Ensemble and Studio6 of Belgrade, where he has been based since 2013. He is currently teaching at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague.
