Éclats de feux has been performed in Corfu, Karlsruhe, Lisbon, Rome and Sheffield…
The title Éclats de feux (“Shards of Fire”) is a reference to the countless bonfires and fireworks one can see and hear every November in England. This is the first piece the composer completed in the UK, and it echoes travels and fast-paced movements through a rich, contrasted approach where several tableaux and soundspaces are stacked. Éclats de feux is an attempt to express wonder in the face of the complexity of constant changes.

Éclats de feux was realized in 2015-16 at the University of Sheffield Sound Studios (USSS) (UK) and was premiered on May 14, 2016 as part of the concert series Sound Junction in Sheffield (UK). Éclats de feux won the 2nd prize at the Jeu de temps / Times Play (JTTP) (Canada, 2016).
